NovaComm formally released its new firmware by adding Apple iBeacon feature in BLE module NVC-MDCS71. Normally MDCS71 works in its standard iGate mode and iBeacon functionality in a separated working mode.
This is an app communicating with NovaComm’s iNova Bluetooth low energy hardware modules. WIth the help of new Bluetooth 4.0 framework, it builds a Bluetooth SPP like link with iNova BLE module. Its feature is the following,
NovaComm releases its Bluetooth low energy module NVC-MDCS71. This modules integrates iNova Bluetooth low energy single mode protocol stack which enables device manufacturers to implement ultra-low power connectivity easily.
NovaComm releases its initial version of iGate solution specially designed for Bluetooth Low Energy and iOS devices.
